1. Legal Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
In accordance with Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason or pay any penalty.
If your order consists of multiple items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
Notify us of your decision before the 14-day period expires:
- Email: contact@ohhappygames.com with the subject "Withdrawal – Order No.…"
- Standard form: see the form at the bottom of this page (recommended but not mandatory)

The burden of proof of exercising the right of withdrawal lies with you. Please keep a copy of your notification.
Returning the Product
After notification, you have an additional 14 days to return the product. Return shipping costs are at your expense, unless the product is defective or non-conforming.
The product must be returned in its original condition: unused, with packaging and accessories intact.
Refund
We will refund the full amount paid (product + standard outbound shipping) within 14 days of receiving your notification, using the same payment method. We may delay the refund until receipt of the product or proof of its dispatch.
2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- personalised products or products made to your specifications (e.g. game with printed name, bespoke B2B edition);
- digital content whose performance has begun with your prior agreement and express waiver of your right of withdrawal.
For our standard board games, you may return them even if you have opened the shrink wrap, provided the game, its components, and its box remain in resaleable condition.
3. Defective, Damaged, or Non-Conforming Product
If you receive a product that is damaged, has missing parts (cards, tokens, dice, rules…) or does not match its description, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at contact@ohhappygames.com with:
- your order number;
- a photo of the problem;
- a brief description.
We will send you the missing part free of charge, a replacement product, or a full refund (product + shipping). This right is in addition to the legal warranties below.
4. Legal Warranties
Legal Warranty of Conformity (Articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code)
- Duration: 2 years from delivery of the product.
- In the event of non-conformity, you may choose between repair or replacement. Failing that, a price reduction or contract termination.
- You are exempt from proving the defect for 24 months following delivery.
Warranty Against Hidden Defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code)
- Duration: 2 years from discovery of the defect.
- You may request a full refund (with return of the product) or a price reduction.
To exercise these warranties, contact contact@ohhappygames.com with your order number and a description of the defect.
5. Returns Beyond the Withdrawal Period (Commercial Goodwill)
As a goodwill gesture, we may accept returns beyond the legal 14-day period, on a case-by-case basis:
- product unopened, original shrink wrap intact;
- return shipping costs at your expense;
- refund in the form of store credit (gift code valid for 12 months), not cash.
This goodwill gesture is discretionary and does not constitute a right.
6. How to Return a Product
- Notify us of your withdrawal or report the issue (email, form, or post).
- Wait for our acknowledgement with return instructions.
- Pack the product in protective packaging.
- Ship to: Oh Happy Games SASU — 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France.
- We recommend tracked shipping — you remain responsible for the parcel until we receive it.
7. Refund Timeframe
- 14 days maximum from receipt of your notification (or the product, if later).
- Refund to the original payment method.
- Additional bank processing time may apply (2 to 5 business days).
8. Mediation and Dispute Resolution
In the event of an ongoing disagreement, and before taking any legal action, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge:
